As the Lord of Beginnings as well as the Lord of Obstacles, among many other things, Ganapati is a symbol for a fresh start, and a reminder that in each obstacle there is an opportunity to learn, grow and blossom.
This blog is mainly a photo-journalistic approach to tracking the changes of my garden, and a vehicle for sharing my pride in the beauty of my work.
There are obstacles to overcome, new seedlings to begin, and many opportunities to blossom! In the garden, and in life.

Dahlias!!!
Last week mom and I went to the Dahlia farm in Canby, Swan Island Dahlias, and I wanted to share some of the pictures I took.
It was so gorgeous there, row upon row of Dahlias, of every color imaginable!
